The McKinley Avenue Project

Ball State is presently rebuilding its primary thoroughfare, McKinley Avenue, which has long been in need of re-paving. At present it is a dirt road with a lot of large machinery moving around on it.

The street is being rebuilt completely with new storm sewers, a central tree-lined median, and new brick sidewalks. It should look really nice when it is finished, and will definitely be a big improvement to the campus.

The storm sewers seem to be mostly in place at this point. I will try to post some more pictures as the project progresses. Most recent are some views from the evening of June 7, 2005. They were taken between 10:00 and 11:00 PM.
