1909-1910, demolished 1970s

Location: 317-321 N. Fourth Street

The Central Fire Station was occupied June 24, 1910. It remained a landmark of Downtown Lafayette until its demolition in the 1970s. The station was an unusual eccelctic building, with its green tile roof, copper cupola, and remaissance-inspired details.
