( Boarding House, Art Hall )
| Dates: | 1872-1873, demolished 1927 |
| Location: | North side of State Street , Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana |
| Architect: | James K. Wilson |
| Contractor: | Joshua Chew |
| Cost: | $35,000 |
The Ladies' Hall seems to have been designed as the Boarding House but was known as the Ladies' Hall (women's' dormitory) from the time of its completion. It had the distinction of being the first building demolished on the Purdue campus (except the ruins of Heavilon Hall during its reconstruction in 1894), and was the first of the original college buildings to be lost. University Hall is now the sole survivor of the original campus.
